SARASOTA–The Orioles scheduled game with the Atlanta Braves on Monday was canceled. The announcement came about three hours before the rescheduled 4:05 p.m. start.

The game was originally scheduled to be played at 1:05 p.m., but due to the unfavorable forecast, the Orioles announced a change to the time at about 7 p.m. on Sunday night.

Earlier on Monday, the sun was shining, but rain began falling around 12. The game will not be made up. Fans with tickets purchased at the Ed Smith Stadium box office or Orioles.com may exchange their tickets for any of the remaining 14 home games. Any fans who have not exchanged to another game by March 21 will automatically receive a refund to their original form of payment.
