So, Chris Tillman will get another start at Camden Yards after all.
Roughly 80 minutes before Sunday’s home finale, the Orioles announced that scheduled starter Dylan Bundy has been scratched and will be replaced by Tillman.
The club later announced that Bundy was scratched with a left hamstring strain. Not sure if that is something that occurred Sunday or something he’s been dealing with previously.
Tillman, the club’s most consistent starter over the past few years before posting a disastrous 7.66 ERA in 22 games (18 starts) this season, looked as if he would not pitch again in Camden Yards in 2017. He wasn’t scheduled to start the Orioles’ next two games in Pittsburgh; the rotation’s schedule for the final, three-game series at Tampa Bay has not been announced.
Tillman is a pending free agent. So this could be his final outing as an Oriole.
Bundy, who is 13-9 with a 4.24 ERA in 28 starts during his first full season in the rotation, was likely making his final start of the year – though it was possible he could pitch next weekend.
The 24-year-old Bundy has thrown 169 2/3 innings this year – 60 more than he did in 2016.

save Bundy's arm and
Play the youngsters so we can see some of the future.
Problem is most of the future you've already seen this year.
This is what I will remember about the O's in the year 2017. What a pleasure it has been to watch Mr. Hardy play short these past 7 years! A class act and an anchor of the defense!
Agreed.
