The Orioles announced four minor league signings on Monday. Two of them, left-handed pitcher Fernando Abad and right-hander Conner Greene, had previously been reported. Two others, catcher Nick Ciuffo and right-hander Claudio Custodio, had not.

Abad is the biggest name. He turned 35 last Thursday and is 8-29 with two saves and a 3.67 ERA in 384 major league games from 2010-2019 with six teams. He has been with Houston, Boston, Oakland, Washington, Minnesota and San Francisco.

Greene, who is 25, has a 39-45 record with a 4.22 ERA in seven minor league seasons with the Blue Jays, Cardinals and Royals organizations. He was a seventh-round pick by Toronto in the 2013 draft.

Ciuffo was a first-round pick, the 21st overall by Tampa Bay in 2013. He’s hit .186 with a home run and five RBIs in 19 games with the Rays in 2018 and 2019. Ciuffo is an experienced catcher who could play at Triple-A and provide depth.

Custodio, 30, began his professional career with the New York Yankees organization in 2010 as an infielder, and was converted to a pitcher in 2015. Custodio is 16-8 with a 3.29 ERA in four seasons with the Yankees, Blue Jays and Braves organizations.
