BALTIMORE—The Orioles have signed their first pick in the 2023 Major League Baseball draft, outfielder Enrique Bradfield Jr. According to a source, Bradfield signed for $4,169,700, which is full slot value for the 17th pick.

Bradfield will be introduced during Tuesday night’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

He batted .311 with a .426 on-base percentage in three years at Vanderbilt.

The Orioles also signed their second-round choice, outfielder Mac Horvath, the 53rd overall pick, from North Carolina.
