Orioles-Royals game will begin at 6:05 after a 5-hour rain delay

BALTIMORE–Wednesday’s game between the Orioles and Kansas City Royals, which was scheduled to begin at 1:05 p.m., will begin at 6:05. That’s a five-hour rain delay.

On August 21st, 2016, the Orioles and Houston Astros waited more than four hours to begin a game that later had an additional 30-minute delay.

Fans who left the ballpark will be allowed to re-enter.

Major League Baseball makes the call on rain delays.
