Question: When is Jackson Holliday going to be called up? He’s on my fantasy baseball roster, and i am hoping I don’t have to wait too long. From: Alfonso Valenzuela

Answer: Alfonso, I also thought Jackson Holliday would start the season with the Orioles, and I don’t know when he’ll be called up, but I don’t think it will be too long into the season. Thank you for not asking my advice on fantasy baseball selections.

Question: Just how large is the number of MLB players represented by Scott Boras?  I never hear other agents named during contract talks. From: Ron Eisenbarth

Answer: Ron, Scott Boras represents about 175 professional ballplayers. Boras holds media briefings at both the General Managers and Winter Meetings and is often available when his clients sign a new contract. Most other agents prefer to work more quietly and aren’t so open and quotable with the media. Many of us would welcome more access to powerful agents, but it’s not how most prefer to work.
