BALTIMORE–After 13 hitless at-bats, Jackson Holliday singled to right in the bottom of the seventh against Milwaukee, and scored the go-ahead run on Sunday.

Holliday, who had struck out nine times, including in his first two at-bats against Colin Rae, hit a 1-0 pitch from Brewers right-hander Abner Uribe into right field.

Holliday’s single moved Jordan Westburg to third. Westburg scored on Gunnar Henderson’s single, and Holliday raced to third.

The 20-year-old, who was promoted by the Orioles on Tuesday, scored when Adley Rutschman hit into a double play, giving the Orioles a 5-4 lead.
