Shintaro Fujinami was acquired by the Orioles on July 19th and was 2-0 with a 4.85 ERA and two saves in 30 games with the Orioles last season. He was the second Orioles player from Japan. Pitcher Koji Uehara was the first. Fujinami is currently with Triple-A Syracuse in the New York Mets organization.
