BALTIMORE–The Orioles have reinstated right-handed starter Kyle Bradish from the 15-day injured list,. He’ll start Thursday’s afternoon game against the New York Yankees.
Bradish hasn’t pitched this year because of a sprain of his right ulnar collateral ligament.
To make room for him on the 26-man roster, the Orioles designated right-handed pitcher Yohan Ramírez for assignment.
Thursday’s game is the fourth and final game of the series against the Yankees, who defeated the Orioles, 2-0, on Wednesday night after losing the first two games.
After Thursday’s game, the Orioles will travel to Cincinnati to play the Reds. It’s expected that left-hander John Means, who also hasn’t pitched this season because of a left forearm strain, will start one of the games against the Reds, although manager Brandon Hyde hasn’t said when he’ll move Means into the starting rotation.
