BALTIMORE—Orioles starting pitcher Dean Kremer will make a rehab start for Triple-A Norfolk against Memphis on Sunday, manager Brandon Hyde said on Friday. Kremer, who has been on the 15-day injured list since May 21st with a right triceps strain, is expected to throw “four-ish” innings.

“We’ll see how it goes from there. Hopefully, it goes well,” Hyde said.

Kremer, who is 3-4 with a 4.32 earned-run average in nine starts, last pitched in St. Louis on May 20th when he allowed five runs on six hits in four innings.

When he returns to the active roster, the Orioles will have to decide who they’ll drop from the starting rotation. They’re currently using six starters — Kyle Bradish, who will start Friday night against Philadelphia, Corbin Burnes, Cole Irvin, Cade Povich, Grayson Rodriguez and Albert Suárez.
