Kremer, who missed six weeks earlier this season with a right biceps injury, left the game immediately. The ball hit by Beck ricocheted to shortstop Gunnar Henderson, who flipped it to second baseman Jackson Holliday for a forceout.

The Orioles are already missing starters Kyle Bradish, John Means and Tyler Wells, who had season-ending elbow injuries, and Grayson Rodriguez, who has right lat/teres discomfort. Rodriguez hopes to return in September. Zach Eflin, who has right shoulder inflammation, is expected to return from the injured list to start Sunday’s game against the Rockies.

Kremer was replaced by Keegan Akin.
