The Orioles have shaken up their coaching staff for 2025 after their elimination in the Wild Card round. Co-hitting coach Ryan Fuller, bench coach Fredi González and major league coach José Hernández will not return to the team, according to a report by MASNsports.com, which was confirmed by industry sources,

Fuller, who spent three seasons with the Orioles, shared the hitting coach duties with Matt Borgschulte. They were aided by Cody Asche, the team’s offensive strategy coach over the past two seasons.

González, who spent five seasons with the Orioles, two as major league coach and three as the team’s bench coach, formerly managed the Atlanta Braves and Miami Marlins.

Hernández, who was one of just two coaches who had been with manager Brandon Hyde during his six-year tenure, spent 15 years in the Orioles’ organization. Hernández was major league coach in 2019 and the last four seasons and assistant hitting coach in 2020 and 2021.

The other coaches are: Asche, Borgshulte, Tim Cossins, major league field coordinator/catching instructor, who arrived along with Hyde in 2019; Grant Anders, major league development coach; pitching coach Drew French; pitching strategy coach Ryan Klimek; third base coach Tony Mansolino; assistant pitching coach Mitch Plassmeyer; and first base coach Anthony Sanders.
