Henderson, Santander, Westburg are Orioles’ Silver Slugger finalists

Gunnar Henderson, Anthony Santander and Jordan Westburg are finalists for the Silver Slugger awards. The Orioles and Yankees are finalists for top American League offensive team.

Henderson, who hit .281 with an .893 OPS, 37 home runs and 92 RBIs, joins Kansas City’s Bobby Witt Jr. and Texas’ Cory Seagar at shortstop.

Santander’s outfield competition is New York’s Aaron Judge and Juan Soto, Boston’s Jarren Duran and Detroit’s Riley Greene. Santander hit 44 home runs, drove in 102 runs, hit .235 and had an .814 OPS.

Westburg is a finalist among utility players along with Minnesota’s Willi Castro and Texas’ Will Smith. He played 66 games at third base, 49 at second base and one each at shortstop and designated hitter. Westburg, who missed nearly two months with a broken right hand, hit .264 with 18 home runs, 63 RBIs and a .793 OPS.

Last year, Henderson won as a utility player and Adley Rutschman won as a catcher.

Winners will be announced on November 12th.
