Orioles offer contracts to 11 arbitration-eligible players, announce Rivera’s signing, Webb’s departure
The Orioles offered 2025 contracts to 11 players eligible for arbitration, agreed on a 2025 contract with infielder Emmanuel Rivera and declined to offer a contract to right-hander Jacob Webb.
Starting pitchers Kyle Bradish, Dean Kremer, Trevor Rogers and Tyler Wells, left-handed relievers Keegan Akin and Gregory Soto, catcher Adley Rutschman, first baseman Ryan Mountcastle, infielders Jorge Mateo and Ramón Urías and outfielder Cedric Mullins were offered contracts.
Rivera signed for $1.1 million, according to a report by MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand.
Webb, who appeared in 60 games, fourth most on the team, but missed six weeks with right elbow inflammation, is now a free agent.
The Orioles also offered 2025 contracts to their 40-man roster players who are not yet eligible for arbitration.
The deadline for arbitration figures to be exchanged is January 9th.
