The Orioles acquired left-handed pitcher Grant Wolfram from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for minor league outfielder Daz Cameron and cash considerations on Monday.

The 6-foot-7, 28-year-old Wolfram began the season at Triple-A Nashville, where he allowed two runs and a hit in three innings for a 6.00 ERA. A 16^th-round draft choice of Texas in 2015, Wolfram spent six seasons in the Rangers’ organization and was 4-1 with six saves and a 3.13 ERA in 46 games for Double-A Frisco and Triple-A Round Rock in 2024.

He spent one day on Milwaukee’s big league roster and was designated for assignment earlier Monday. Wolfram was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk by the Orioles.

Cameron, who was in his second stint in the Orioles’ organization, was with the team during spring training and hit .355 with eight RBIs in 18 Grapefruit League games.

In three seasons with Detroit and one with Oakland, Cameron hit .201 in 139 games with 10 home runs and 39 RBIs. Cameron was 4-for-18 (.222) with three RBIs in five games for Norfolk.

To make room on the 40-man roster for Wolfram, the Orioles transferred 35-year-old right-hander Albert Suárez from the 15- to 60-day injured list with a strained right subscapularis, which is the largest and strongest muscle in the rotator cuff.
